I chose Working Together as the phrase to represent my design. I chose this out of a
variety as I think this shows a positive aspect of what Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance
achieve within their company. I firstly came up with plenty of ideas so I narrowed this
down to a few then tried thinking of how to represent them. I therefore chose cogs to
portray working together. These are found in clocks, machinery and many other things
that are essential for working together and therefore everybody is familiar with them.
My design is of cogs interlocking one another to show that it works successfully when
put together. I have chosen different scales of cogs in my design to show variety and
no matter how different they are it all goes together. The colours are grey and black
tones as I feel this represents the working industry well. It has a powerful feel to it with
these colours. I was inspired by Russian work to separate my design into sections of
different sizes that linked together. These are coloured differently to the ones lying
beside each other so nothing clashes.
