About the Competition
We are for the fourth year holding our nationwide Art of Nurture student art competition. This competition has been developed in partnership with Arts & Business, a National Arts Based Charity and the Princes Trust which is a charity that helps change young peoples’ lives.
Our Art of Nurture competition gives students the chance to gain national recognition for their work and there are cash prizes for students and matched funds for their university. Successful students are given the opportunity to display their work in well known galleries to members of the business world.
The competition is open to 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or post graduate students. (In Scotland, 4th year students are also included).
This campaign has already had great coverage in trade journals and newspapers such as the Financial Times. The Art of the Advisor has also been used as part of a Direct Marketing (DM) campaign to key business advisors such as accountancy firms, brokers, lawyers, and corporate finance boutiques.
Working closely with Arts & Business to find new talent through our competition, we are looking for the UK's most creative art students, and to give them the opportunity to present their work to the business world as part of our current marketing campaign.
The winners and runners up of the competition will see their art featured as part of our advertising campaign.
Images used so far have come from a variety of sources and are selected for their appropriateness in supporting the specific message about LTSBCF in each Direct Mail piece or advertising creative.
Background
Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance is a leading player in the commercial finance sector. A subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group, we are an active, dynamic company working closely with professional advisors to deliver funding solutions to businesses large and small.
Businesses come to Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance (usually via advisors such as large accountancy practices) because they are experiencing change in their business and need to access additional finance. The change can be both positive (active growth, investment in new opportunities, investing in new markets) or negative (cash flow challenges, forced changes to the business, adverse market conditions).
We are working in partnership with Arts and Business in our quest to find new talent through our competition; The Art of Nurture. We are looking for the most creative art student in the UK, to whom we will offer the opportunity of presenting their work to the business world, as part of our new marketing campaigns.
